Cherry French Toast!!(Valentines day Breakfast!)

Looking for a Valentines day breakfast 

for you and your sweetie on Valentines 

morning? Try this delicious recipe!


Cherry French Toast!!


Ingredients:


 * 1 1/2 cup milk

 * 6 eggs *

1/8 cup maple syrup

 * 3 tablespoons sugar, divided

 * 1 tablespoon grated orange peel 

 * 1/2 teaspoon salt

 * 8 slices (4 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1/2-inch) French bread 

* 4 cups pitted Northwest fresh sweet cherries, halved 

* 1/2 cup orange juice * Vanilla yogurt


Directions: Combine the milk, eggs, maple syrup, 2 tablespoons sugar, orange peel and salt; mix well. Pour half of mixture into each of two 9-inch square baking dishes. Dip both sides of each slice of bread in milk mixture; arrange in the same baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Marinate the cherries in orange juice and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar overnight. Carefully transfer slices to a nonstick, buttered baking sheet using a large spatula; allow excess liquid to drip into pan used for soaking. Bake in a pre- heated 400F oven 15 to 18 minutes; turn slices over halfway through baking time. Top each slice with 1/2 cup cherries and a dollop of vanilla yogurt. Serve immediately.

Christmas Cookie Slices!!! (I'm Back!)

Want a last minute Christmas cookie recipe? Try this one on for size? 


Christmas Cookie Slices Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 

 1 cup sugar 

 1 cup butter or margarine -- softened

 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 

 2 eggs

 3 cups all-purpose flour 

 1 teaspoon salt

 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 

Beat sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Divide into 3 equal parts. Shape each part into roll, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Heat oven to 400ยบ. Cut rolls into 1/8-inch slices. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until golden brown around edges. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. to wire rack.

BUFFALO-STYLE CHICKEN WINGS!!!

Welcome back! 
this is the third
 recipe in the
chicken recipe
 series! 


BUFFALO-STYLE CHICKEN WINGS 


2 1/2 lb. (12-15) chicken wings 
1/4 c. Durkee red hot sauce
 1 stick (1/2 c.) melted butter or margarine 
Celery sticks
 Blue cheese dip 


Split wings at joint and discard tips.  Arrange on a rack in a roasting pan.  Cover wing pieces with sauce on both sides.  Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour, turning halfway through cooking time.  Wings can be deep fried at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes and then dipped into the hot sauce until coated completely.  Serve with celery and blue cheese dip.

CHICKEN WALNUT !!!

Hey everyone its time for 
recipe #2 in the chicken
recipes series! Let's Go!!


 CHICKEN WALNUT :


 1 lb. chicken boned breast
 2 tbsp. cornstarch
 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
 1 tsp. sugar 
4 oz. bamboo shoot
s 3 tbsp. soy sauce 
1/2 tsp. salt 
2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. soy sauce
 1/4 c. apple juice



 Combine, cornstarch, ginger, garlic, sugar and salt.  Roll chicken in mixture.  Brown chicken in butter and combine 2 tablespoons soy sauce, one half-cup water and one quarter cup apple juice.  Pour liquid over browned chicken.   


Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until fork tender.  Stir once, add bamboo shoots.  Combine one quarter cup water, one quarter cup apple juice and 3 tablespoons soy sauce with cornstarch mix.  Left over, add to chicken stir until thick.  Serve hot garnished with French fried walnuts.  Make by heating one half cup or more walnuts in boiling water five minutes.  Remove skins, dry and fry until brown.

BEEF TACO SALAD!!!!

Hello Everyone here is
the 4th recipe in the series:



BEEF TACO SALAD!!!




1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  1 Package Taco Seasoning Mix 
 1/2 tsp salt 
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
 1 14.5-oz can Mexican-style diced tomatoes, undrained 4 to 6 cups 
 1 c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 shredded lettuce
 Sliced green onions
 Chopped green, red or yellow bell pepper 
Molded Taco Bowl Shell (optional)

    
Break ground beef into crumbles and cook in large skillet over medium heat about 8-10 minutes or until meat is done, breaking up into crumbles. Add yellow onion for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Drain excess grease if needed.
   
Next, add the seasoning mix and salt. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; let simmer about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.   


Distribute lettuce among 4 plates or Bowl Shells. Top each one with the beef mixture. Next, sprinkle with bell pepper, green onions and cheese

EASY BEEF BAKE

EASY BEEF BAKE!!!

Hello everyone here is the 3rd recipe
in the beef series! Easy Beef Bake:


1 pk Onion and mushroom or Beef Flavor mushroom Soup mix
 1/4 c Ketchup
 1 med Egg
 1/4 c Water 
3 c Hot mashed potatoes
 1 lb Ground Beef
 Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 1/2 c Soft Bread crumbs   




Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a medium bowl,combine Soup mix, water,Beef,Bread crumbs,ketchup and Egg.Press Beef mixture into a 9" Pie pan.Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
