Christmas Cookie Slices!!! (I'm Back!)

Want a last minute Christmas cookie recipe? Try this one on for size? 


Christmas Cookie Slices Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 

 1 cup sugar 

 1 cup butter or margarine -- softened

 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla 

 2 eggs

 3 cups all-purpose flour 

 1 teaspoon salt

 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 

Beat sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, salt and baking soda. Divide into 3 equal parts. Shape each part into roll, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Heat oven to 400ยบ. Cut rolls into 1/8-inch slices. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until golden brown around edges. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. to wire rack.

You get two!!!!

Recipe #1

All-American Pork Baby Back Ribs!!!


INGREDIENTS: 4 pounds pork back ribs 
Your favorite barbecue sauce (purchased or homemade)

DIRECTIONS: Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs on a medium-hot grill over indirect heat; close grill hood and grill until ribs are tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. (Add more charcoal briquettes to fire, if necessary, to maintain grill temperature of about 325-350 degrees F.) Finish by turning and basting ribs with barbecue sauce for the last 15 minutes. Serve ribs directly from the grill or, for extra tender ribs remove from grill, wrap in heavy aluminum foil. Place foil wrapped ribs in brown paper bags, close bags and let ribs rest for up to an hour. Unwrap ribs, cut into serving pieces and serve with extra barbecue sauce.

4th Of July Red White & Blue American Pie!!!

Red, White & Blue American Pie

 1 ea 10" pastry or graham cracker 

1 cn 21 oz. Blueberry pie filling 

1 pk 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

 1 c powdered sugar,sifted
 
1 pk 12 oz. whipped topping 

1 cn 21 oz. Tart cherry filling 


Bake 10" pie pastry; let cool to room temperature. 

Pour blueberry pie filling into shell; refrigerate for 30 minutes. 

Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar; beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. 

Spread cheese mixture over blueberry pie filling; refrigerate for 30 minutes. 

Spread cherry pie filling over cheese mixture.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

EASY BEEF BAKE!!!

Hello everyone here is the 3rd recipe
in the beef series! Easy Beef Bake:


1 pk Onion and mushroom or Beef Flavor mushroom Soup mix
 1/4 c Ketchup
 1 med Egg
 1/4 c Water 
3 c Hot mashed potatoes
 1 lb Ground Beef
 Shredded Cheddar Cheese
 1/2 c Soft Bread crumbs   




Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a medium bowl,combine Soup mix, water,Beef,Bread crumbs,ketchup and Egg.Press Beef mixture into a 9" Pie pan.Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
